What does it mean to be raised with Christ?

Answered in 3 sources

To be raised with Christ means sharing in His resurrection, granting us spiritual new life and hope for eternity.

Being raised with Christ signifies that as believers, we partake in His resurrection, which brings about a profound transformation in our lives. According to Romans 6:8-9, our union with Christ in death also guarantees our new life in Him. This means we no longer live under the dominion of sin but are empowered by Christ's resurrection to walk in newness of life. It embodies the hope of our future resurrection, where we will gloriously live with Him forever. Thus, it provides the basis for our assurance, encouraging us to embrace our identity as new creations in Him.
