What does it mean to be spiritually awake?

Answered in 1 source

Being spiritually awake means being alert and responsive to God's presence and grace in our lives.

To be spiritually awake, as Paul urges in Romans 13:11, is to be fully conscious and aware of our relationship with God, rejecting spiritual slothfulness. It involves recognizing the urgency of our faith and living proactively in obedience to Christ. This awakening is powered by God's grace, enabling believers to shed the habits of their former lives and live in accordance with their regenerate nature, continually striving for a deeper fellowship with Christ.
