What does it mean to be under grace and not under the law?

Answered in 1 source

To be under grace means to be free from the law's condemnation and empowered by the Holy Spirit to live righteously.

Being under grace, as Paul explains in Romans 6:14-15, signifies liberation from the law's curse and condemnation. Unlike the law, which exposes sin and brings death, grace offers forgiveness and enables believers to live in accordance with God's will. This relationship is characterized by a newness of life where the believer, guided by the Holy Spirit, desires to serve God rather than indulge in sin. The grace of God does not nullify the law's moral standards; instead, it fulfills them in the heart of the believer, urging a genuine response of love and obedience to God's commands.
