What does it mean to be under grace, not under the law?

Answered in 1 source

Being under grace means we are free from the law's condemnation and are instead made righteous through faith in Christ.

To be under grace is to be liberated from the bondage of the law and its curse. In Romans 6:14, Paul writes, 'For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.' This signifies a new covenant relationship where believers are justified and sanctified through faith in Jesus rather than through the fulfillment of the law. Under grace, we receive God's favor and acceptance not through our works but through Christ's completed work on the cross, ensuring our position as His beloved children.
