What does it mean to believe and keep on believing in Christ?

Answered in 1 source

To believe and keep on believing means to have an ongoing faith that trusts in Christ for all aspects of salvation (Romans 5:1).

Believing in Christ encompasses both an initial act of faith and a continual state of trust in His promises and work. Romans 5:1 highlights that 'therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.' This peace is not a one-time experience but is sustained through ongoing faith in Christ’s redemptive work. Just as a journey requires constant movement, our faith must reflect a continuous reliance on Christ for strength, guidance, and assurance of salvation. This is a dynamic relationship wherein believers grow in their understanding of God’s grace, leading them into deeper expressions of repentance and faith throughout their lives.
