What does it mean to come to Christ for healing?

Answered in 3 sources

Coming to Christ for healing means seeking Him as the ultimate source of restoration for both physical and spiritual ailments.

To come to Christ for healing entails recognizing Him as the only true source of healing and wholeness. As illustrated in the sermon by the woman who reached out to touch the hem of Jesus' garment, true healing follows an earnest and faith-filled action. This woman had exhausted all worldly options, finding no relief, which drove her to Jesus. In Mark 5:34, He acknowledges her faith and declares her healed. This narrative illustrates the necessity of faith that is placed solely in Jesus Christ, beyond mere rituals or human efforts. In coming to Christ, we not only seek physical restoration but also the spiritual healing that addresses the root of our sinfulness. Healing in Christ encompasses our entire being—spirit, soul, and body—and is available to all who sincerely believe in Him.
