What does it mean to come to Christ for healing?

Answered in 1 source

To come to Christ for healing means recognizing one's own sinfulness and helplessness, and seeking His mercy.

Coming to Christ for healing is an act of humility and recognition of one’s spiritual need. The people in Matthew 14 sought out Christ because they understood their misery and desperate need for healing. This illustrates the condition of sinners who recognize their inability to save themselves and actively seek the mercy of Christ. In doing so, they acknowledge that He is the only source of healing for their sin-sick souls. It is by coming to Him in faith and humility, many being brought low, that they find perfect healing and restoration through His grace and power.
