What does it mean to embrace God's promises?

Answered in 2 sources

Embracing God's promises means holding them in our hearts and living with confidence in His faithfulness, as shown in Hebrews 11:13.

To embrace God's promises is to fully accept and hold tightly to the assurance and hope they provide. Hebrews 11:13 describes the Old Testament believers who, although they did not see the fulfillment of God's promises in their lifetime, remained persuaded of them and loved them deeply. They confessed that they were strangers and exiles on the earth, indicating a firm belief in a greater, heavenly promise. Embracing these promises involves living in light of eternity, trusting that God will fulfill what He has promised, and thus shaping our lives and actions accordingly.
