What does it mean to feed on Christ?

Answered in 3 sources

Feeding on Christ means to receive Him by faith and rely on Him for spiritual sustenance, as expressed in John 6:53.

In John 6:53, Jesus states, 'Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.' To feed on Christ is to embrace Him fully as our source of life, acknowledging that true spiritual nourishment comes from Him alone. It signifies a deep commitment to trust and depend on His grace for all aspects of our spiritual journey. Just as we physically consume food for our bodies, we are called to spiritually consume Christ through prayer, meditation on Scripture, and fellowship with Him, which sustains our spiritual vitality.
