What does it mean to find rest in Christ?

Answered in 1 source

Finding rest in Christ means having peace and comfort that only He can provide.

True rest in Christ is found in the assurance of salvation and the comfort of His presence. As noted in Psalm 116, the plea to 'return unto thy rest, O soul,' illustrates the deep longing for the peace that can only come from a personal relationship with Him. Without Christ, our souls are in unrest, endlessly seeking satisfaction in worldly pursuits. In Him, we find the ultimate refuge and sustenance, fulfilling our every need (Romans 8:1).
