What does it mean to have saving faith?

Answered in 2 sources

Saving faith is a commitment to follow Christ, trusting in His grace and guidance through all aspects of life.

Saving faith, according to biblical teaching, is characterized by a deep trust in Jesus and a willingness to follow His leading. It is more than intellectual assent; it is a heart response to God’s call, which leads to a transformation in how we live. Hebrews 12:1-2 calls believers to run with endurance, looking unto Jesus—the author and finisher of our faith. This faith perseveres even through trials, demonstrating its genuineness by producing fruits of obedience and a desire to live for Christ alone, without looking back to former ways.
