What does it mean to have the ear of God?

Answered in 1 source

Having the ear of God means that God listens to and answers the prayers of His people.

To have the ear of God implies a special relationship between a believer and God, where their prayers are heard and impactful. James 5:16 explains that the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. The example of Elijah illustrates this beautifully; he was a man of God whose earnest prayer influenced the weather as per divine purposes (James 5:17-18). This privilege of being heard by God is not inherent; it comes through being of God and living in obedience. When God hears your prayers, it signifies His approval and the unique bond established through faith, allowing believers to intercede on behalf of themselves and others with confidence.
