What does it mean to hide in God?

Answered in 1 source

Hiding in God means finding refuge and security in Christ alone.

To hide in God is to take refuge in His sovereignty and grace, acknowledging that the only true hiding place from God's wrath is found in Jesus Christ. Psalm 32:7 says, 'Thou art my hiding place,' highlighting the safety that believers have in God. Unlike the ephemeral coverings of self-righteousness, which fade like leaves, resting in Christ assures us of His everlasting protection and love. In Isaiah 32:2, we see that He provides shelter and calm amidst the storms of life, demonstrating that true security is found not in our efforts but in His faithful character and promises.
