What does it mean to keep God's covenant?

In Scripture, keeping God's covenant involves faithfulness to His commands and reliance on His promises. Psalm 103 emphasizes that mercy is bestowed upon those who keep His covenant and remember His commandments. For Christians, this covenant is fulfilled in Christ, who kept all the terms of the everlasting covenant of redemption. Our obedience is thus a response to the love shown to us through Christ’s sacrifice. It signifies a heart transformed by the Holy Spirit, where we strive to love one another and believe in Christ.
