What does it mean to live as a follower of God?

To live as a follower of God is to deny oneself and look to Christ's righteousness alone for salvation. It is an active choice to listen to God's Word and let it shape your life instead of relying on human wisdom or traditions. Romans 9 teaches us that God's election precedes our actions, leading us to a dependence on His grace. In this life of following, believers need to cultivate an attitude of humility and total reliance on God’s provisions, acknowledging that in ourselves, we are impotent but in Him, we are made whole.
