What does it mean to open the door to Jesus?

Answered in 1 source

Opening the door to Jesus signifies welcoming Him into our hearts for fellowship and communion.

In Revelation 3:20, Christ states, 'Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If any man hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will sup with him, and he with me.' This verse reflects an invitation for believers to engage in fellowship with their Savior. To open the door means to respond to His call, acknowledging His presence and inviting Him into the very depths of our lives. It illustrates the intimate relationship God desires with His people, characterized by mutual communion and the sharing of life. Believers are encouraged to actively participate in this relational dynamic, recognizing that Jesus initiates this relationship as a gesture of grace and love.
