What does it mean to praise God in action?

Answered in 1 source

Praising God in action involves living out our faith through good works that reflect His glory.

Praising God is not limited to verbal expressions; our actions also play a critical role. As expressed in Psalm 113, worship entails reflecting God’s light to others through our behavior and choices. When we boast in the Lord and acknowledge His works, we let our actions demonstrate His presence in our lives. Jesus instructed His disciples to let their light shine before others, that they may see good works and glorify God (Matthew 5:16). Therefore, true praise is manifested in a life that embodies God’s love, mercy, and righteousness, encouraging others to seek Him through our testimony. This active praise is a natural response to recognizing His role in our lives, where our actions align with our words.
