Praying for Christ's sake means approaching God based on the merits of Jesus' sacrifice, not our own.

To pray for Christ's sake is to recognize that our strength, righteousness, and worthiness come solely from Jesus Christ. In Solomon's prayer, he implores the Lord to hear the supplications made for His people's restoration. Similarly, in our prayers, we should seek to be justified and heard not because of any intrinsic goodness on our part but rather because of Christ's sacrosanct work of redemption. It places our faith firmly in His righteousness, acknowledging that only through His sacrifice can we be reconciled to God and receive responses to our prayers.
