What does it mean to stand upright in faith?

Answered in 1 source

Standing upright in faith symbolizes being made righteous through Christ's redemptive work.

To 'stand upright' signifies more than physical healing; it represents the transformation that occurs when individuals are granted righteousness in Christ. In the sermon, the crippled man's ability to stand represents how believers, once spiritually impotent and dead in sin, are made alive and upright through Christ's grace. In Him, we gain the ability to live righteously, as described in Psalms, and it is through His intervention that we are made upright, not by our own efforts.
