What does it mean when Jesus said we will see Him as He is?

Answered in 1 source

Seeing Jesus as He is means that believers will experience Him in His full glory, unencumbered by sin, resulting in our complete transformation.

When Scripture states that we will see Him as He is, it refers to an intimate and transformative realization of Christ in His glorified state. Believers will not only see His beauty and majesty but will be transformed into His likeness in that moment. This means liberation from sin and a restoration to perfect holiness. This eschatological hope underscores the joy of the Christian faith, looking forward to the day when our faith gives way to sight, culminating in the consummation of our salvation and everlasting communion with our Savior.
