What does my personal experience say about salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Personal experience should align with the truth that salvation comes through faith, not works.

In evaluating personal experience regarding salvation, one must reflect on whether their understanding aligns with the gospel's truth that salvation is by faith alone. When one sincerely believes in their heart that Christ was raised from the dead, salvation is realized, as articulated in Romans 10. Authentic faith results in a transformation of the heart, compelling one to confess Jesus as Lord. Thus, our experience should affirm the sufficiency of Christ's work for salvation, and it should point us to a deep reliance on Him rather than our own righteousness.
