What does Revelation teach about God's purpose in suffering?

Answered in 1 source

Revelation teaches that suffering is permitted by God for our ultimate good and serves a divine purpose.

In Revelation, particularly through the imagery of God on the throne and the Lamb of God, we are reminded that God is sovereign even in our suffering. The trials we face are under His control and are part of His plan to accomplish His will. Romans 8:28 assures us that all things work together for good to those who love Him. This means that even our suffering can draw us closer to God, deepen our faith, and prepare us for a greater purpose in His Kingdom. Therefore, we can face trials with courage, knowing that God is using them for good.
