What does spiritual growth look like for a believer?

Answered in 1 source

Spiritual growth involves being rooted in Christ and continually growing in the knowledge of Him.

Spiritual maturity for a believer is centered around being firmly rooted in Christ. Ephesians 4:11-13 highlights that God gives pastors and teachers for the perfecting of the saints and for spiritual edification. This growth process involves understanding Christ’s fullness and allows believers to remain anchored in their faith, avoiding the pitfalls of false doctrines. As one grows in their knowledge of Christ and His truth, they mature into a reflection of Him, being conformed more closely to His image, which is the ultimate goal of the Christian life.
