What does the Bible say about acceptable sacrifices?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that God requires sacrifices without blemish for them to be acceptable (Leviticus 22:21).

In Leviticus 22:21, God commands that any sacrifices offered must be without blemish to be considered acceptable. This reflects God's holiness and the standard of perfection He requires of those who approach Him. Just as the sacrificial system demanded an unblemished offering, so too does our relationship with God necessitate perfection in righteousness to meet His standards. Worshipers were instructed to approach God carefully, understanding that imperfections in their sacrifices rendered them unacceptable.
