What does the Bible say about agreeing with God?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that faith is fundamentally about agreeing with God and recognizing that He is just and right in all His ways.

According to Scripture, agreeing with God means recognizing His truth and declaring Him just in all His statements and actions. In Amos 3:3, it is stated, 'Can two walk together except they be agreed?' This highlights the necessity of aligning our hearts and beliefs with God’s ways. Salvation is a matter of working in agreement with Him, as seen in the case of Abraham, who was justified by faith because he believed God (Genesis 15:6). Therefore, the essence of faith is to agree with God about His righteousness and our own need for salvation.
