What does the Bible say about Asa's righteousness?

Answered in 1 source

Asa's righteousness came from his faith in God and the imputed righteousness of Christ.

The Bible illustrates that Asa, like all true believers, did what was right in the eyes of God because of the imputed righteousness of Christ. In Romans 3, we see that it is through faith in Jesus Christ that believers receive the righteousness of God. Asa experienced this common salvation which believers today also share, demonstrating that he was made righteous through his Substitute, Jesus Christ.
