What does the Bible say about attaining righteousness?

According to Romans 9:30, the Gentiles who did not pursue righteousness have attained it through faith. This righteousness is not based on the works of the law or human effort, but is a free gift from God through Christ's sacrificial work. In Romans 3:21-22, Paul emphasizes that the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, and is available to all who believe.
