What does the Bible say about being cursed by the law?

Answered in 2 sources

The Bible teaches that those who rely on their works are under the curse of the law because they cannot fully obey it.

In Galatians 3:10-13, the Apostle Paul states that anyone who relies on the works of the law is under a curse, as written in Deuteronomy 27:26, 'Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law.' This highlights the impossibility of achieving righteousness through the law, as no one can perfectly fulfill its demands. The law requires total obedience; failing even in one point leads to being cursed. Therefore, those who try to garner favor with God through their works are left in a position of condemnation because they inevitably fall short.
