What does the Bible say about being fervent in spirit?

Romans 12:11 states that we should not be slothful in business, but fervent in spirit, serving the Lord. This fervency reflects the zeal that the Lord Jesus displayed during His earthly ministry. The call to be fervent in spirit means that we should engage in our tasks with a passion that comes from our love for Christ, recognizing that our service is ultimately for Him and His glory.
