What does the Bible say about being judged by God?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible presents a perspective where only Jesus Christ can confidently ask to be judged by God due to His perfect obedience and righteousness.

In Psalm 26, David's plea to God to judge him highlights the only one worthy of such a request is Christ. David acknowledges his sins and thus can’t stand before God without Christ. The only way believers can have confidence in facing judgment is through Christ’s righteousness, which is imputed to them. As believers, we understand that in Christ, we share in His obedience and His innocence before God, allowing us to approach the judgment throne without fear.
