What does the Bible say about being part of God's royal family?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible declares that believers are made into a royal priesthood, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ.

According to Scripture, those who believe in Christ are transformed into a royal priesthood and a chosen generation. Revelation 1:6 affirms that Christ has made us kings and priests unto God. Similarly, 1 Peter 2:9-10 illustrates that we, once not a people, have now become the people of God and hold a unique status as His royal family. We didn't earn this privilege; it is solely by God's grace and purpose from eternity. Our identity as part of the royal family of God is not based on our earthly status or actions, but on our redemption through the blood of Christ.
