What does the Bible say about being raised with Christ?

Answered in 2 sources

The Bible teaches that believers, being crucified with Christ, are raised with Him and should walk in newness of life (Romans 6:9).

According to Romans 6:9, because Christ was raised from the dead, He will not die again, and death has no more dominion over Him. This event is pivotal for believers, as those who are united with Christ in His death are also raised with Him. As a result, Christians are called to leave behind their old ways, characterized by sin and dead works, and instead live a life that is renewed and transformed by Christ's resurrection. This is a declaration of our new identity and purpose in Him.
