What does the Bible say about being ready for Christ's second coming?

In the Scriptures, particularly in Matthew 24 and 25, Jesus instructs His followers to be vigilant and prepared for His second coming. He uses the analogy of the days of Noah to illustrate that people were unaware of the impending judgment until it was too late. Jesus warns that we must be watchful, as He will return at an hour when we least expect it.
