What does the Bible say about being redeemed from the curse?

Answered in 4 sources

The Bible teaches that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us (Galatians 3:13).

In Galatians 3:13, the Apostle Paul states that 'Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us.' This refers to the curse that came upon humanity as a result of Adam's disobedience in the Garden of Eden. The law, which requires perfect obedience, brings the curse of death upon those who fail to adhere to its precepts. By redeeming us, Christ took upon Himself the curse that we rightfully deserved, thus setting us free from the demands of the law.
