What does the Bible say about being sent into the world?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible states that Jesus was sent into the world to fulfill God's purpose, and believers are likewise sent to bear witness to His glory.

In John 17:18, Jesus declares, 'As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.' This reveals that God sends His people into the world not only to bear witness of Him but also to fulfill the tasks He has appointed for them. Just as Christ was sent to accomplish the work of salvation and to reveal the Father's nature, believers are sent to share the message of grace and truth, reflecting Christ’s mission in their lives.
