What does the Bible say about being wealthy in Christ?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that true wealth is found in our relationship with Christ, not in material possessions.

In 1 Corinthians 1:5, Paul emphasizes that believers are enriched in everything by Christ. True wealth is measured not by material possessions but by what we have in Christ. The Apostle Paul, despite his own poverty, considered himself the wealthiest man because he possessed the riches of God's grace, love, and glory. This understanding reflects the sovereign grace perspective that true poverty is being without a relationship with God, while true richness is having fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
