What does the Bible say about believers being holy?

Scripture clearly states that every believer is holy. For example, in Hebrews 10:10, we read that believers are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. This sanctification means that even when believers do not feel holy, they are declared holy in Christ. The natural man does not understand holiness, but those who have been born again possess a new nature that delights in God's law and recognizes their identity as holy ones, or saints. 1 John 3:9 reinforces this by stating that whosoever is born of God does not commit sin because God's seed remains in them, highlighting the transformative work of the Holy Spirit in their lives.
