What does the Bible say about believers being secure in Christ?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible assures believers that they are secure in Christ, having been made fit for salvation through His grace.

The Bible teaches that believers are secure in Christ because God the Father has made them fit to partake in the inheritance of the saints in light (Colossians 1:12). This fitness is accomplished through the work of Christ, who has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into His kingdom (Colossians 1:13). Therefore, our assurance does not depend on our efforts or actions but on the completed work of Christ, which secures our position before God.
