What does the Bible say about Christ as our inheritance?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that the Lord God of Israel is our inheritance, fulfilled in Jesus Christ.

In Joshua 13:33, we see that the tribe of Levi was given no inheritance because the Lord God of Israel was their inheritance. This principle extends to all believers, as the ultimate fulfillment of this promise is found in our relationship with Jesus Christ. He is our inheritance, meaning that in Him, we possess all spiritual blessings and eternal life. Just as the Levites depended on God for their sustenance and role in worship, so too do believers find their identity, purpose, and fulfillment in Jesus, our great high priest and sacrifice.
