What does the Bible say about Christ as our leader?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that Christ acts as our leader, guiding and protecting us through life's journey, much like the pillar of cloud and fire that led the Israelites.

In Exodus 13:21, we see the Lord leading Israel with a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night. This imagery is representative of Christ as our leader, who provides guidance, warmth, and protection. Just as the Israelites followed the pillar, believers are called to follow Christ, trusting that He knows the best path for us. This leadership assures us that we will find blessings and safety when we remain close to Him, just as the Israelites found comfort and direction in the desert.
