What does the Bible say about Christ as our prophet?

In Deuteronomy 18:18-22, God promises to raise a prophet from among the people, which is ultimately fulfilled in Jesus Christ. This prophetic role is vital, as it establishes Jesus as not only a messenger but also as the embodiment of God's Word.
