What does the Bible say about Christ as our source of life?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that Christ is our life because all spiritual and biological life comes from Him.

Scripture clearly identifies Christ as our source of life, stating in John 5:26, 'For as the Father hath life in himself, so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself.' This encompasses both biological and spiritual life. Without God, there is no life. Furthermore, 1 John 5:12 reinforces this by asserting that 'he that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.' Thus, to have life is to be spiritually united with Christ, who is both our Creator and sustainer.
