What does the Bible say about Christ being all in all?

Answered in 12 sources

The Bible teaches that Christ is all in all, emphasizing His sufficiency and preeminence in the lives of believers (Colossians 3:11).

The Apostle Paul highlights the truth that Christ is all and in all by stating that, in the new creation, distinctions such as Jew or Greek, slave or free, have no bearing without Christ (Colossians 3:11). This doctrine affirms that Christ is the foundation of all spiritual life for believers; He is our foundation, our sustenance, and our hope. In Him dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily (Colossians 2:9), making Him the source of all grace and truth for those who abide in Him (John 1:16). Therefore, any spiritual gift or work in a believer's life finds its origin and completion in Christ.
