What does the Bible say about Christ being our guide?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible describes Christ as a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night, leading and protecting His people throughout their journey.

In Exodus 13:21-22, the Lord led the Israelites with a pillar of cloud during the day and a pillar of fire at night. This imagery is representative of Christ's role in guiding believers. He is our constant guide and protector, leading us through the trials of life with the promise that He will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Just as the Israelites relied on the visible presence of God, we trust in Christ to direct our paths and provide for our needs, ensuring we safely reach our heavenly Canaan.
