What does the Bible say about Christ being our prophet?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that Jesus is the anointed prophet who reveals God's will to humanity.

In the Scriptures, particularly referenced in Hebrews 1, we are told that God has spoken to us through His Son, Jesus Christ. As the anointed prophet, Jesus fulfills the role of God’s mouthpiece, bringing forth God’s messages and teaching us about His nature and will. The disciples and followers of Jesus received the truth of God directly through Him, illustrating how Jesus mediates divine revelation. This anointing signifies that He is uniquely entrusted with the authority to speak on God's behalf, unlike the prophets of old, who mediated in part. His teachings guide us from spiritual darkness to the light of God's truth.
