What does the Bible say about Christ fulfilling the prophets?

Throughout the Scriptures, especially in Matthew 1:22-23, it is clearly presented that Christ's birth fulfilled the prophetic words spoken by Isaiah and other prophets. This fulfillment is crucial as it confirms that Jesus is the promised Messiah, the 'Immanuel' or 'God with us.' Not only is His virgin birth significant for its fulfillment of prophecy, but it signifies His divine nature. Jesus had to be born sinless to bear the sins of His people, and this was accomplished through His conception by the Holy Spirit.
