What does the Bible say about Christ's sacrifices?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible emphasizes that Christ is the ultimate sacrifice who fulfilled the law and brought salvation through His own obedience.

According to Psalm 40, Christ declares that the sacrifices of the Old Testament were insufficient to satisfy God's justice. The blood of bulls and goats could not take away sins; thus God provided the Lamb, Jesus Christ, who willingly came to offer Himself as the perfect sacrifice. This obedience to the law was not compelled by fear, but was a delight for Christ, who joyfully fulfilled the will of the Father in both His life and sacrificial death.
