What does the Bible say about Christian sacrifices?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that Christians are to offer spiritual sacrifices, including praise, thanksgiving, and their very selves, as acts of worship to God.

In Hebrews 13:10-15, the apostle draws a contrast between the Old Testament sacrificial system and the spiritual sacrifices of Christians. The sacrificial offerings made in Jerusalem's temple were replaced by the continual offering of praise and worship through Christ. This is exemplified in the broken and contrite heart that is more pleasing to God than any animal sacrifice. Christians are to recognize that Christ has sanctified them, thus, their response is to draw near to God with grateful hearts and offer the sacrifice of praise, which symbolizes the fruits of their lips and their sincere devotion to Him.
