What does the Bible say about coming to Christ as a living stone?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible describes Christ as a living stone, chosen by God and precious, to whom believers are invited to come for spiritual nourishment and growth.

In 1 Peter 2:4, the apostle Peter writes about Christ as a 'living stone' who was disallowed by men but chosen by God. This imagery signifies that Christ is the solid foundation upon which the Church is built. As Christians, we are invited to come to Him, bringing our burdens and needs, to find rest and spiritual growth. Just as newborn babes desire milk for nourishment, believers are to long for the sincere milk of God's Word, which is essential for our spiritual maturity.
