What does the Bible say about coming to Christ in distress?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that those in distress should come to Christ, who offers peace and comfort.

In 1 Samuel 22, David becomes a captain to those who are distressed, in debt, and discontented. Similarly, Christ invites all burdened individuals to come to Him for rest and relief. He assures us, 'Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest' (Matthew 11:28). This invitation is not just for physical distress but extends to spiritual turmoil, as He is the one who brings peace to troubled hearts.
