What does the Bible say about completeness in Christ?

Answered in 3 sources

The Bible teaches that believers are complete in Christ, meaning their qualification for salvation and righteousness comes solely through Him.

In Colossians 2:10, Paul declares, 'And you are complete in Him, which is the head of all principality and power.' This completeness refers to the believer's total sufficiency and acceptance in Christ, who fulfills all the requirements for salvation through His finished work. Believers, upon receiving Christ by faith, are considered righteous and perfect in God’s sight because of their union with Him. As they recognize their inadequacy and place their trust in Christ, they can rest in the assurance that their standing before God is secure and complete.
